Material Pickup & Install
Already planning to buy your own materials? Steve will build the list so you order the right amount, pick it up for you, pass along whatever contractor discount he can get, and install it for a fair labor rate. You keep control of the material spend.
- Lowe's or Home Depot orders
- Owner-supplied materials
- Budget control
- Partial DIY
He builds the list
Post counts, rail lengths, concrete, hardware — ordered right the first time so you're not making a second trip.
Contractor pricing where it applies
Where Steve can pass along a material discount, he does. It goes to you, not into his margin.
Fair labor rate
You're paying for the install and the experience behind it, not a marked-up materials invoice.
Straight answers before you call
If your question isn't here, call or text Steve — he'll tell you straight, and there's no pressure either way.
(978) 758-5378How much does a new fence cost?+
It depends on the material, the length, and what the ground is like — ledge and slopes take more work than flat, open yards. Steve gives you a straight number after seeing the property, and there's no charge for the estimate.
Do you take a deposit up front?+
No. Steve doesn't ask for money before the work starts. You pay when the job is done and you're happy with it.
What areas do you serve?+
Anywhere within about 35 miles of Lowell, MA — including Chelmsford, Dracut, Tewksbury, Billerica, Tyngsboro, Westford, and Andover. If you're not sure whether you're in range, just call and ask.
Can you repair a fence instead of replacing it?+
Usually, yes. A leaning post, a broken section, or a gate that won't latch is often a repair, not a replacement. Steve takes on the small repair jobs a lot of larger companies turn down.
What kinds of fence do you install?+
Vinyl, wood, aluminum, and chain link, plus steel and wrought iron. Residential and commercial, new installations and repairs, with matching gates.
Can I buy the materials myself?+
You can. If you're buying from a place like Lowe's or Home Depot, Steve will help build your list, pick it up, pass along any material discount he can get, and install it for a fair labor rate.
How long does an install take?+
Most residential fences are done in a day or two once materials are on site. Steve will tell you what to expect for your specific job before he starts.
Are you insured?+
Yes — Steve is fully insured, and has been doing fence work in the Merrimack Valley for over 35 years.
